Terms of Service

Mebron establishes accounts after payment processing and fraud screening. Customers must provide an email address not associated with their registered domain(s). This email serves as the primary contact method for abuse issues and account communications. Customers are responsible for maintaining current contact information for both their hosting and domain accounts.

False contact information may result in account termination. Dedicated server purchases and high-risk transactions require government-issued identification and possibly credit card scans.

Transfers

The transfers team provides courtesy assistance with site migrations but cannot guarantee availability, feasibility, or completion timelines. Free transfer services are available for 30 days from signup. Transfers beyond this period incur charges upon consultation with the transfers department.

Services are restricted to lawful purposes only. Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mebron from any claims resulting from the use of our services. Copyright and trademark infringement is prohibited. Counterfeit merchandise sales result in immediate account termination.

Copyright violations are expeditiously removed or disabled. Repeated violations result in suspension or termination. Copyright holders should email [email protected] with required information.

Shared accounts cannot function as backup/storage devices except for one cPanel account backup.

Unacceptable Material on Shared/Reseller Servers

Prohibited content includes: topsites, IRC scripts, proxy scripts, pirated software, image hosting scripts, autosurfs, IP scanners, bruteforce programs, mail bombers, banner services, file dump scripts, commercial audio streaming, escrow services, HYIP sites, investment sites (FOREX, MLM, Ponzi schemes), controlled substances without permits, lottery sites, MUDs/RPGs, hateful/racist/harassment content, hacker sites, illegal activity promotion, warez distribution, and fraudulent sites.

Unacceptable Material on Dedicated Servers

Prohibited items include: IRCD, IRC scripts, pirated software, IP scanners, bruteforce programs, mail bombers, escrow, HYIP sites, investment sites, controlled substances without permits, lottery sites, hateful content, hacker archives, illegal activity sites, and warez forums.

Child Safety

Any site found to host or link to child pornography will be suspended immediately without notice. Violations are reported to law enforcement.

Mebron maintains a zero tolerance stance against sending of unsolicited e-mail, bulk emailing, and spam. Safe lists and purchased lists constitute spam. Spam senders face account termination with or without notice. This policy includes spam via fax, email, instant messaging, and usenet/newsgroups.

Organisations in ROKSO cannot be hosted. Accounts causing IP blacklisting face immediate suspension or termination. Unsolicited email senders may face cleanup fees or blacklist removal charges at Mebron's discretion.

Customers agree to provide appropriate advance payment for services received. Services bill on a recurring basis unless cancellation is requested — this includes suspended accounts. Mebron provides a 10-day grace period from invoice generation. Outstanding invoices unpaid after 10 days incur a $10 late fee and/or account suspension until full payment.

Cancellations require written submission via the provided form. Upon receipt and confirmation, Mebron notifies customers in writing with a ticket/tracking number for reference.

It is the customer's responsibility to notify our sales team via email after paying for a domain renewal and to ensure the email is received and acted upon. Domain renewal notices and invoices are courtesy reminders; Mebron cannot be held responsible for renewal failures.

For non-payment beyond stipulated periods, Mebron reserves the right to re-sell the domain, layout, and all other related material to any third party or use itself — including the domain, content, structure, layout, and all related material — without intimation.

Mebron reserves the right to change monthly payment amounts and charges at any time.

Mebron reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or restrict access to accounts at any time with or without notice. Staff abuse in any medium results in service suspension or termination.

Customers may cancel at any time via email at [email protected]. Mebron gives an unconditional 30-day money-back guarantee on managed shared hosting and reseller solutions for customers who paid the first invoice with a credit card or PayPal.

Non-refundable payment methods include bank wire transfers, Western Union payments, checks, and money orders — these are posted as hosting account credits instead.

No refunds apply to website design, development services, custom software development, mobile application development, dedicated servers, administrative fees, custom software installation fees, or domain name purchases. Only first-time accounts qualify for refunds.

The amount you pay for hosting will never increase from the date of purchase. We reserve the right to change prices listed on mebron.com, and the right to increase the amount of resources given to plans at any time.

Discounts and coupons are reserved for first-time accounts or first-time customers only and cannot be used for domain registration unless otherwise specified. Coupon abuse results in suspension or termination. Coupons apply only to initial purchases and do not affect renewal or recurring prices.

Your use of this service is at your sole risk. Our backup service runs on Sunday of each week and is provided as a courtesy. Mebron is not responsible for files and/or data residing on your account. Customers must maintain appropriate backups of transferred and stored files and data. Suspended or terminated accounts receive no backups unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Users may not:

• Use 25% or more of system resources for longer than 90 seconds (involving CGI scripts, FTP, PHP, HTTP, etc.)
• Run unattended server-side stand-alone processes, including daemons and IRCD
• Run web spiders or indexers on shared servers
• Run IRC network-interfacing software
• Run bit torrent applications, trackers, or clients
• Participate in file-sharing/peer-to-peer activities
• Run gaming servers
• Run cron entries with intervals under 15 minutes

Using over 250,000 inodes on shared accounts may result in warnings; future suspensions follow if unaddressed. Accounts exceeding 100,000 inodes are automatically removed from backup systems. Each file (webpages, images, emails, etc.) uses one inode.

Shared accounts using over 20 gigabytes of disk space are removed from off-site weekly backups except for continuing database backups. All data continues mirroring to secondary drives for data loss protection from drive failures.

Customers receive monthly bandwidth allowances varying by hosting package. Exceeding allocation allows Mebron to suspend the account until the next allocation period, charge additional overage fees, or require a package upgrade. Unused monthly transfer does not carry over to subsequent months.

Shared/reseller servers with physical downtime outside the 99.9% uptime guarantee may receive one month account credit at Mebron's discretion. Server uptime is defined by operating system and Apache Web Server reports. Credit requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Dedicated servers receive network guarantees with prorated credits for applicable downtime.

Resellers support their clients; Mebron does not support resellers' clients directly. Resellers must submit all support requests for security purposes. Resellers are responsible for all account-stored content, transmitted material, and client actions, including law and TOS violations.

Shared accounts cannot resell web hosting; reseller accounts are required for resale. Semi-dedicated servers are not backed up by Mebron; customers must maintain their own backups.

Mebron reserves password reset rights on dedicated servers if on-file passwords are not current for required security audits. Dedicated servers are NOT backed up by Mebron — it is the responsibility of the client to maintain backups. Contact [email protected] for secondary drive inquiries.

Customers agree to defend, indemnify, save, and hold Mebron harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs, and claims — including reasonable attorney's fees — asserted against Mebron, its agents, customers, officers, and employees that may arise from any service provided or performed, or any product sold by the customer.

Using Mebron services constitutes agreement to binding arbitration. Disputes or claims against Mebron are handled by a Mebron-selected arbitrator from Kerala, India. Arbitration shall be conducted under the rules of the Indian Arbitration Association. Arbitrator awards are binding and enterable as court judgments. Customers bear all arbitration-related costs.

Mebron shall not be responsible for any damages your business may suffer. Mebron makes no warranties of any kind, expressed or implied, for services provided. Mebron disclaims any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. This includes loss of data resulting from delays, non-delivery, wrong delivery, and any service interruptions caused by Mebron and its employees.

Mebron (including executives, directors, officers, attorneys, managers, employees, consultants, contractors, agents, parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, and involved parties) is not liable for losses from domain registration issues, access delays or interruptions, data delivery failures, events beyond reasonable control, or dispute resolution. Mebron's maximum liability never exceeds total amounts paid by the customer.

Mebron may disclose subscriber information to law enforcement agencies without further consent or subscriber notification upon lawful request. Full cooperation with law enforcement agencies is provided.

Mebron reserves the right to add, change, or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Mebron also reserves the right to modify, suspend, cancel, or discontinue any channels or services at any time without notice.
